Influenced the team to adopt new technical good practices and a "shift left" mindset: Clean Code, Hexagonal Architecture, queuing systems, TDD and behaviour testing.

Picked up Python and a new business domain (healthcare AI) within a couple of months.

Development on a monolithic legacy system with an average of 200 requests per second, including 24/7 on-call support. The team started local and became distributed across multiple countries and cultures.

Participated, at both technical and business levels, in the carve-out of that legacy system into a new microservice architecture.

LAMP stack with Zend, Redis, Gearman and Kafka on the monolith; Java with Spring Boot and PostgreSQL on the new services. Infrastructure based on AWS and Ansible. Mix of Agile and XP with focus on BDD, CI/CD, TBD, test automation, pair/mob programming and code reviews.
